Meet Founder Pauline Greenidge

Pauline Greenidge is passionate about the improvement of people’s capabilities and their engagement at all levels of the organization. As a seasoned HR Professional and published author with over 20 years of experience, she has worked with executives and front-line leaders in diverse industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, professional services, non-profits and education.

Pauline employs Mindset of Invitation™ when working with clients. That’s important because an invitation is intentional and planned. When we extend an invitation, we know who and why the guests are there and the experience we want them to have. She has found that in the workplace, the best teams are those that are intentional in their purpose and are willing to invite each other into creating the mindset and experience to achieve it.

The Path to Becoming a People and Teams Expert

Perspective from Pauline

When I was a teenager, my family moved from a large city to a small town where I was the only girl of colour in my high school. No one else looked like me and I stood out. I didn’t feel like I fit in, much less belong. I needed to make connections and build relationships to survive and thrive in this new world. Through this experience, I needed to draw on my own strengths to initially find a way to fit in. I created my own sense of belonging and defined myself.

I forged connections and built relationships to survive and thrive in this new world. My experience as the new and different kid on the block led to growing keen observation skills and the ability to read a room and people well.

As a frontline HR leader in a very large organization going through a merger, I observed the same kind of impact that disruption and the resulting loss of belonging can have for many employees. This impacted team engagement and reduced effectiveness.

These experiences led me to a successful career as an HR professional and leader working in large organizations, where I developed strong professional relationships and rapport with leadership and clients in helping them achieve their goals.

They also inspired my commitment to working with frontline leaders and individuals to help them build a Mindset of Invitation with their teams and themselves to build better relationships, resilience and productivity.
